You can actually do it every time you wash your hair. I used it in place of condish and I believe that's why I have so little by way of build-up. It's also excellent for the scalp. Now I want to use condish for more softness so I'm doing it every 2-3 washes. Plus I'll be doing that deep cleanse 1x6mths.
