Looked nice when I first took out the soft spikes. 
my locs rolled on soft spikes yesterday. It took over 1hr!!! How do others do it? I can't be spending so long rolling my hair, aint got the time. 
The joy on my face when I finally finished. Little did I know the curls would collapse the very next day.

I have noticed since my hair has gotten longer just plain water does not hold my curls anymore, but I hate the feel of the setting lotion on my hair

Yes, the softspikes are hard work! I roll my locs with them but I also use lottabody setting lotion. I find lottabody great as it's not sticky and you can dilute the solution to your taste - it's also very economical on price.
Try it - I'm sure you'll find your set will then hold for at least a week.

I like the collapsing curls. I was wondering how to achieve that look but I see that I have to wait until my sisterlocks gain some more length.
Seiwa, they're in Sakaman. Call Ankpa and ask her. The lady's name is Manti and she's 2 min from our house.I have her phone number so I'll send to your email. We paid them 12GHcedis, or (120,000 old cedis) They have a yarn needle I left them. Pls leave them your latch-hook as I forgot to give them mine.
