No, I prefer to call them locs with character. This is how my locs look and I've decided I like it. It dawned on me that the fuzzy, frizzy stage is to be enjoyed. My locs are simply deciding what they're going to be when they grow up. I like wild and I like the volume. They will not always be like this. One day I will wake up to find them fully developed, all 'behaving', but for now..... I'll Enjoy big hair.

Your hair looks beautiful. About a week ago I was just venting about my fuzzies also. I determined that the color contrast was magnifying the fuzzies and the volume; which is not good with hair as thick as mine-I have 636 locks; so I colored to a slightly darker shade and now I love my hair again.
Kudos for being patient with the teenage years.
Thanks Nihuru. I love your thick hair. That's the kind of volume I would have loved to have, but I'm making the best of my hairtype and texture. The fuzzies give me the volume I desire, so I'm happy.
Hey as long as you are happy, that is all that matters. I learned a long time ago that no matter what you do or how you look, somebody will still not like it. That's their problem not ours. I've had thick hair all of my life so I'm very used to it. If I had thin hair, I would want thick and there was plenty of times I wanted thin hair. I think it is just our nature to want what we don't have. Your hair is beautiful cherish it for all of the glory that it gives you.
